John Powell (born September 18, 1963 in London, England) is an award-winning film score composer. He composed the soundtrack for the films Ice Age: The Meltdown, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs and Ice Age: Continental Drift.

Powell is married to Melinda Lerner, with whom he has a child.
