Born and raised in Sydney, Australia with three siblings named Liberty, Ryot and Annachi, Wilson was named after a girl that sang at her parents' wedding. Wilson's parents were professional dog handlers, with her grandmother starting a kennel for breeding beagles. Through her time in high school, Wilson initially intended to take mathematics as a career, being a high academic that was good with numbers. Later, Wilson attended the University of New South Wales, studying Law and Arts, and is a former Rotary International Youth Ambassador for Australia. Wilson was at one point based in South Africa for a year, in which she suffered from malaria, causing her to have hallucinations of herself as an actress that had won an Oscar, prompting Wilson to go after a career in acting.
