Look at how poor this page is when whoever it is who's working on it stops! We only have info on the first movie, can we hurry up and add more? The page is as poor as Scrat's own fate!

Scrat came from the Angry Beavers episode in 1998[]
Dag and Norb got turned into baby beavers and spent most the episode trying to chase down a magic acorn saying 'Mine, Mine". It looks amazingly like where the idea came from for Scrat. Here's a clip:
